The mares are the foundation of any modern breeding program as they were for the bedouins back to time immemorial. In 1997 we bought our first mare, the weanling Belbowrie Shemesh. She produced beautifully for us to a number of different straight Egyptian stallions. She was out of the Kuhaylan Rodan grey mare Minstril's Monica and by Monteego Bay. We have kept one daughter of her, Shemesh el Suheera by the imported Al Kha-zar. In late 2015 we purchased the aged mare El Aseel Issima in the hope that we could continue her illustrious pedigree and outstanding type.
